Creating a Fashion Show
We've seen them everywhere! The glamorous videos showing beautiful models walking down the runway wearing unique ensembles with music pounding out in the background. But how does it all happen? In Week 3, we will read, watch and learn the process of producing a fashion show. At the end, you will be working on a team to present one part of the fashion show.
Read the text, "Guide to Producing a Fashion Show" by Judith Everett and Kristen Swanson
As you read, make special notes on the processes that must happen to produce a successful fashion show. You will be asked to be a part of a team creating a fashion show for your sketchbook assignment below.

Sketchbook Assignment 3
To receive 5 points for your sketchbook assignment you need to complete the exercises below and submit the website location of your Prezi in the submission field at the bottom of this page by Sunday ending Week Three.
The instructor will email you a list of the group to which you belong and the names and email addresses of the other belonging to the same group. These groupos will be that same as the Week Two. The 4 Groups will be defined as Producers, Set Design, Backstage and Publicity. Each group will have a budget of $250 to spend for a total fashion show budget of $1000. The responsibilities of each group are outlined in the Fashion Show Groups document below. This document defines what each group needs to document and accomplish with a budget of $250. Please print it for your reference for this project.
You have already completed the fashion terms part of this project in Week Two. You will use the same process and color coding to add all fashion show information, references and responsibilities to your group's Google Doc. Once the information is gathered, you will need to meet as a team to create a Prezi Presentation of the information you have found.
The video below explaining this project is a Prezi. It is like the concept map you created in Inspiration in Week One, except that it allows you to show movement along the concept map from one thought or group to another in user defined ways. You can also find another example of a Prezi at http://prezi.com/zygvrtpbdjw8/lori-faulkner-intro/ . You will use this Prezi Tool to show the others in the class what you will do for your part of the fashion show and in what order it will be done. The address of the Prezi needs to be uploaded to me using the submission tool at the bottom of this page.
